MBL Staff Activities

Here’s how you can get involved at MBL:
- Adopt-a-Family for Christmas – Sponsor a child, a parent, or an entire family! You’ll receive their first name, wish list and their clothing sizes and will bring in the purchased gifts wrapped and labeled.
- Holiday Gift Drive – We are collecting unwrapped gifts for the Falmouth Service Center’s Gift Distribution program.
- Food Baskets – Provide a holiday dinner food basket for one of the families we are sponsoring.
- Holiday Elf Program – Want to help and have time, but no money? Or money, but no time? Contact us and let us know that you’re interested in being one of our elves and we’ll find a way for you to get involved!

Potluck Lunches
A potluck lunch is held periodically at the MBL Club. For more information or to sign up, contact Human Resources, x7422 or humanres@mbl.edu.
Walking
Many MBL employees enjoy going for a walk during their lunch break. Click here for route maps.
Softball
All MBL employees are welcome to play in this fun and occasionally competitive softball league. Weekly games begin around Memorial Day and last throughout the summer. All games are played either at Belltower Field in Woods Hole village or at McKee Field (located on the WHOI Quissett campus). Contact Jim Marcello at x7424 or jmarcello@mbl.edu for more information.
